Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the mobile game Kármán Line (the “App”), developed by Raeed Alaofi and distributed on Google Play (com.raeedalaofi.karmanline).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Google Play’s terms.

The App is free to download. It may include:

An internet connection may be required for ads, purchases, and purchase verification. Core gameplay can function offline in many cases, but online features may be unavailable without connectivity.

3. Virtual currency and digital goods

The App includes virtual credits and other digital content with no real-world monetary value. Virtual items are licensed, not sold, and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law or Google Play policy.

We may adjust game balance, prices, rewards, or availability of virtual items at any time as part of ongoing development.

4. In-app purchases

All purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Refund requests must be directed to Google in accordance with Google Play’s refund policies, unless otherwise required by law.

You are responsible for charges incurred through your Google account. Parental approval may be required for users who are minors under local law.

5. Remove Ads product

The optional “Remove Ads” purchase disables banner advertisements in supported screens. Rewarded advertisements may remain available as an optional feature to earn in-game rewards. This product does not remove all forms of promotional content that require explicit user opt-in.

6. User conduct

You agree to use the App responsibly and not interfere with its operation or the experience of others. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The App, including its code, art, audio, trademarks, and content, is owned by Raeed Alaofi or licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights in the App.

8. Disclaimers

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Rocket flight in the App is a simulation for entertainment. It does not provide real-world engineering, safety, or operational guidance.

9. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RAED ALAOFI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the App or in-app purchases in the twelve (12) months before the claim, or zero if you made no purchases.

10. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue or restrict the App, in whole or in part, without prior notice where permitted by law.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence to the extent required by mandatory consumer protection rules. Where permitted, disputes shall be resolved in good faith through contact with us before pursuing formal remedies.
